This past weekend marked Homiefest 2, where a couple hundred Portland musicians and (you guessed it) homies gathered  on a beautiful farm in wine country just outside of Newberg, Oregon.

Organized by ultra-homie, Papi Fimbres, who is leaving town with his wife Shana next week for a year in Berlin, it was no surprise that this camping and music extravaganza was almost too good to be true. Musical performances provided by the likes of Orquestra Pacifico Tropical, The Ghost Ease, Máscaras, Aan, Minden, And And And, Animal Eyes, Talkative, Joel Magid, Boone Howard, and many more, made this DIY festival more fun than anything PDX Pop Now, MFNW, or Pabst Fest combined could conjure up.

While most of Portland’s musical community will be distraught with Papi and Shana’s leave of absence, especially the 20+ bands that the couple performed in, we’ll at least have this photo gallery of Homiefest 2 to look back on and bring us back to that nostalgic weekend.

Here’s looking to Homiefest 3 in 2017.
