If you live anywhere near the Pacific Northwest and haven’t yet had the experience of attending Pickathon music festival, it should find it’s way to the top of your priorities list when planning for next summer’s festival circuit.

Located on the beautiful Pendarvais family farm just east of Portland, Pickathon offers a handful of stages (including inside a barn, tucked in the woods, or out in the open pasture) and multiple opportunities to catch your favorite artists. Basically, it’s like a finely tuned, massive, and professional version of Homiefest, with expert musical curation featuring larger touring artists and local Portland groups alike. This years lineup boasted such mind blowing acts as Viet Cong, Ty Segall, Wand, Sam Cohen, Meatbodies, Tinarwen, Leon Bridges, Tune Yards and King Tuff, as well as Portland favorites Grandparents, Jackson Boone and Edna Vazquez and more. Camping with your friends and watching live music has never been so fun.
