This past Saturday marked the 2015 Santa Speedo Run in which nearly a few hundred runners took to the streets of NW Portland decked out in the bare minimum santa attire – a red speedo, and maybe a santa hat.

An annual fundraiser event for the Ethiopia Project, a non profit dedicated to sending shoes to Ethiopia for those in need, this year’s Santa Speedo Run raised over $2000 for the cause. In a perfect expression of keeping Portland weird, this event offers a great opportunity to be charitable in the season of giving, strip off ones clothes to help promote body positivity (and show off the goods), and get day drunk with other spirited individuals in the community.

Check out our photo gallery from the event and consider participating next year if you didn’t make it this year.
